| The BMW E3 was introduced in 1968 as 2500 wich had a six cylinder engine with 150 HP. In 1969 the 2800 came available. It also had a six cylinder but now with 170 HP. The 3.0 S came available in 1971 and had 180 HP. The 2500 and 2800 received a small facelift. At the end of 1971 a 3.0 Si with electronic fuel injection came available. It had 200 HP. In 1973 a 3.3 L with 190 HP came available. In 1975 the 2800 went out of prodution and was replaced with a 2.8 L. There was also a 3.0 L introduced and the 3.3 L received fuel injection. All models went out of production in 1977. |
